Linda Barrett is an international lawyer and a Texas native, with degrees in philosophy, logic, and law from the University of Texas at Austin and the University of Texas Law School. She has practiced law for more than 40 years. Her legal work has taken her all over the globe. Linda founded the Houston BARC Foundation to initiate large scale private funding for improving the quality of care and adoption rate of abandoned animals in the city's municipal animal shelter.

She has a love for French culture and served on the American Hospital of Paris Foundation board for many years organizing the Ambassadors of the American Hospital. She also co-founded the American Friends of the Marmottan Monet Museum Foundation and launched outreach programs for increasing private American funding to support the arts in France. Linda and her husband regularly spend time at their summer home, Château d'Aptot in Normandy, France, with their rescue pets, donkeys; Zebby and Presidente, and dogs; Kaiser and Kristy.

"The land deals have gotten bigger and bigger, but that's how I started. I made all these mistakes moving forward. I failed fast and I fell quick and I fell forward. None of this was painless, but it all worked one thing after another, by taking a lot of action." (12:50)

"I remember him saying that if you have a deal and you don't have the buyers ahead of time, go out there and put 33 bandit signs up, so that's what I did." (21:02)

As an Army Officer with over 8 years of service, Brent Bowers was spending a great deal of time away from his family, and he knew he needed to make some changes in order to be more present with his wife and children. His interest in real estate began in 2007 when he purchased his first home, so Brent began exploring real estate investing as a way to support his family while being able to enjoy more time with them as well.

In a short amount of time, Brent was able to expand his business, hire a team, and (most importantly) spend quality time with his family while still working hard and helping others. While Brent invests in many different types of real estate, his favorite investment strategy deals with buying and selling vacant land, and he enjoys sharing his expertise in this area with his coaching clients. Brent chooses to live his life based on Bob Burg's quote, "Your influence is determined by how abundantly you place other people's interests first." He is passionate about helping other people find success in real estate investing, particularly in land investments.

"The thing you need to separate is, we're no longer investing into companies, we're investing into protocols and that's really a piece of code and a lot of 'em can replace, you know, agencies, and companies. We're starting to see things being used as as an actual currency." (8:40)

"I think smart contracts will be important for the author to have ownership over what they are writing and publishing. And we see this with music as well, when artists release their albums, they can really own a larger piece of their albums." (17:08)

"So I think if banks are not, coming around to it and accepting crypto, regardless of regulation, regardless of the current infrastructure that's in place, they have to adopt it because if they don't they'll die. I really think that the best technology is always gonna prevail." (22:22)

Jeff Sekinger was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania but was raised in Columbus, Ohio after his family relocated when he was five years old. From a young age, he always had a knack for the business and finance world as he grew up with entrepreneurs for parents. When they divorced, he noticed the financial toll his family's finances took. He developed his drive for financial success after seeing both sides of what money can do.

While working at J.P. Morgan, he started writing business plans for startups as a side hustle. He noticed startups also needed capital to start and operate their ventures and quickly jumped into the credit niche. Simultaneously, Jeff began building his personal brand on Instagram, teaching the exact strategies he was using in the business and on himself to break out of the financial hole he dug himself into. After declaring the outside business activity, the bank denied his side hustle and social media presence. Jeff took this as a sign to pursue his passion and left the company in late 2018.
