As the city deals with a series of high-profile crimes, including the shooting death of two police officers, Mayor Eric Adams releases a new plan to combat the rise in gun violence. But will his proposals make the city safer?

Elizabeth Glazer, the former director of the Mayor's Office of Criminal Justice, joined Errol to react to the mayor’s blueprint and give some suggestions for the new administration. She also explained why the pandemic may be one of the reasons the city is seeing a surge in crime and weighs in on the debate over criminal justice reforms.
