Elk Hunt

Want to become a damn good elk hunter?

You could listen to every elk hunting podcast in the world but until you develop a system you are going to stumble around in the woods trying to figure it out. What do every single one of the best elk hunters in the world have after years of honing their skills? a system. A system that allows them to find elk as soon as they hit the ground, get close to those elk, and then capitalize in the red zone.

It's not some secret they know that know one else does, it's having a system and putting in the work. After interviewing hundreds of hunters and my own experience from the Oregon cost to the prairies of Montana I have put together my 4 step system in Elk Hunt 201 Course. Want to go from 101 to 201 this is the framework you need. Please note this is not for the newbie. If you are looking for a course on how to gut an animal this is not it. If you have experience but want to get better, go here!

We recorded this podcast originally as a wapiti Wednesday for the Patrons but the second half of this pod was so good on a deeper level that I couldn't not give it to the world. As Shawn said after the podcast, "wow that took a direction I wasn't expecting." I said "yeah that might be the biggest ah ha moment I have ever had on the podcast. That punched me in the face pretty hard.

A lot of you have seen that I put out a course called Elk Hunt 201. Which is a 4 step system for being a more successful elk hunter.

I attribute a lot of my knowledge in the last few years to this man right here and a lot of that system comes from Shawn.

There are seems to be two types of reactions to Shawns podcasts. Those who look at someone who targets only 380 plus bulls and says "Well he's different or that's not applicable." and those who say "What can I learn from this guy." Even if you want to shoot rag 6's  I would listen to every word Shawn says. Enjoy!
