• Greetings to my devoted listeners. Apologies that I've been MIA for 2 whole weeks. I've missed talking to all of you and hearing your feedback. I've been under various Doctors care for my mouth mysteries. It started with what I thought was "dry mouth" boy was I wrong. Todays Mindful Monday is all about being Mindful about your health and well being.
• Advocate for yourself in every way-your health, your job, your relationships, your mind, body and soul. Unless you're a minor, no one will do it for you, so it's up to you! We only get One Life we need to embrace every day. 
• What this mouth mystery has taught me is that time is a precious gift and we should not take it for granted as it could change in an instant. 
• My primary doctor prescribed me a paste thinking it would cure my mouth mystery diagnosed via photos emailed and symptoms 1 week later no improvement.
• Next visit my primary doctor who examines me we go down the list-hand feet & mouth nope, thrush, no, herpes, no, the list goes on...Doc have you ever seen this before? Doctor-NO I haven't.  ME- GULP.
• Next Up Ear Nose & Throat Doctor hmmmm I think it's mucousitis or lichen planus we're going to treat it with steroids-predinisone- 6 days 6x a day and a steroid mouth rinse 4 x a day and GUESS WHAT???  It doesn't improve -SMH :(  
• Next up Biopsy of most active area upper lip OUCH then Rheumatology department calls me tells me my primary doctor referred my results to them.

• Cold Rainy Days has anyone else been affected in a weird way? I mean how do you like the cold? Or the rain? Me personally, I know we need it; but man this cold, I feel like it cuts right through me to my bones. I do think it creates a nice setting for cozy movie nights like Netflix, Apple or Hulu evenings. 
• Drunk Driving Incident in Pleasanton an 18 year old was arrested on drunk driving charges after a 2 car crash in Pleasanton. At 10:20 p.m. Sunday, officers responded to a crash between 2 vehicles near Hopyard and Golden roads. Damage was minor and no one seriously hurt. 
• Are You Ready 4 some football? Super Bowl is this Sunday! Who will you root or cheer for? Kansas City Chiefs? Or Philadelphia Eagles? Who will you Place your bets on? • Commitment 2 Love, Love is a Verb-Author Kyle Phew- What does Love Look Like to you? In his book one thing that resonated with me is how he shares about Self-Awareness and how important it is to know. Do you think you have Self-Awareness? It's important to have this quality as it will strengthen you relationships knowing each others goals. Self-awareness is a powerful tool for redefining love because it helps us identify our blind spots, those areas where we might act unconsciously or fall into old, often detrimental patterns. It's not about becoming someone else, It's about embracing our authentic selves and using our self-knowledge to cultivate healthy, loving connections that bring joy, growth, fulfillment.

• My personal Wellness Wednesday Journey- When and Where it all started?? Pre Covid saw myself in the RowHouse Mirror and didn't like what I saw. I didn't know who that woman was in the mirror. At 5' 4" on a Good Day with Heels as I say I was unhealthily overweight 204 lbs. I made a conscious decision to break my old bad unhealthy habits, replace them with new ones. It was no easy feat, but with the help of natural supplements to fill the nutritional gaps ie. sleeping, metabolism, appetite control, and eating healthy foods and exercise. As a lot of people do, after married, I got lackadasical and stopped my good habits due to comfortability and bad influences with no one to blame but myself. 
• Can Do Attitude and Recognizing My faults- I got back on track Implementing what I know, eat healthy, listen to your body, drink your water, get good rest, exercise and low and behold since July I am proud to announce I am 25 lbs down to 135lbs. Friends, it's never to late! Don't give up on yourself!

• The Struggle Is Real -Sorry I wasn't here for you last week but Drs. are trying to determine what's happened to me :( undiagnosed rash prevented me from talking comfortably, unfortunately still unknown. All homeopathic remedies are being used. Monitoring food & beverage intake which isn't much these days.Please send youre positive thoughts, prayers, love or light, whatever you practice.

• Recap on the Fires in Southern California The Eaton and Palisades fires are now the most destructive wildfires in Southern California history according to Cal Fire. The fires over the past week were larger and hotter than they would have in a world without planet-warming fossil fuel pollution, a UCLA analysis suggests. (CNN) 
• Dublin 8th Grader Makes Care Packages for Firefighters I am proud to announce Fallon Middle School Student Amrutha Chunduru won a grant to create care packages for local firefighters. Chunduru received on of 47 awards worth a total of $17,109 given by Kindness Grows Here, A Maryland based nonprofit dedicated to cultivating a culture of compassion and kindness in children. Chunduru will use the fund from grant to continue her project titled Courage in Action, Kindness in Heart. " I live in Bay Area, California where there have been many wildfires close to my home in past few years." Chunduru told  Patch in an interview before the wildfires broke out all over Southern California. "I've witnessed how hard the firefighters work when trying to put out a fire. Our family evacuated in 2017 because there was a fire spreading close to our home and it was frightening seeing the black smoke from the fire. They were very kind at at the same time helped all of us go to a safe place. I then realized how courageous every firefighter is because they risk their lives to keep everyone safe"

• Christmas or Holiday What Did you do? Did you get everything you wanted this holiday season? Eat good food, Celebrate with family or friends ? We celebrated different this year instead of traditionally Delta King Ship Riverboat we attended Candlelight Service at Crosswinds talked about traditions etc. Several Attendees mentioned traditions of homemade Tamales ummm hellloooo how do I get on this List? I love tamales, Mexican Food, I am a total foodie. Our Christmas was in 3 segments- Mister & I , Mister & I , then Brooklyn, Carly, Mister & I . Carly is like my other daughter. Watching them grow and mature is so beautiful.
