Ember Church Sunday Sermon

We have arrived at the final thing Jesus says to the disciples in their formal discipleship. Which is to say that we have arrived at the most important thing He wanted them to know. Take a guess what that is? Come experience how natural, real, amazing it can actually be. Can’t wait!

Building on Robert’s excellent sermon last week, God is clearly trying to build all our faith. It is as important as anything we can do. Experience this and see what it feels like to have more faith!

How are we to really please God, to really do what He’s asking of us? Only by seeing God for who He really is and by letting Him be the King. Come walk through this journey of faith with us!

What if it turns out that you actually can’t be a “good” Christian; not just those that struggle with obvious issues, but rather all of us? Experience what it takes to be, and stay, truly free in Him on this Memorial Day!

What is faith? How do we grow in it? How do we get to where we can move mountains? What if the answer is so small and natural, that we don’t even know we’re growing in it? Experience this and end up different.

God has given me an absolutely fascinating revelation on understanding, and therefore trusting, who He really is. Great for Mother’s Day, but oh so much more!!! God is very, very good!

Faith is critical to every area of our life. Experience what it is supposed to feel like personally, and then how different it is in community, and how that leads to it’s amazing expression in mission. And given that this is coming from a man who has lived all three out in incredible ways, this will be one that deeply impacts us all!!!

Why don’t we see others coming to Christ over our spiritual oneness?

We are coming to the culminating moments in our journey with God and the disciples through Luke. And we have seen the Lord doing many things in our world that parallel this Biblical journey so that we are experiencing it today. So what is it all building to? What is the point? Experience this this Sunday and feel something both phenomenally obvious but also incredibly beautiful…

Easter is hope. What God can do should always and forever fill every Christian with an ever flowing hope. But it does not. We wax and wane. Why? Or better, what if God was bringing you a way to live in resurrected hope every moment of your life? Gonna be a good one. Hold on to your hats
