This interview has been months in the making and proof that Divine Right Timing is a thing. While trying to schedule this interview Katie and I went back and forth a million times, then we did it, and I ended up deleting the file and we had to re-do it. That said, we finally did it and I'm super glad because the conversation around healing from addictions from eating disorders to being a workaholic, self-help exhaustion and journaling as an integration tool was great. Enjoy!

This is a fun interview, wild ones. Kute Blackson is someone whose name I've been seeing and hearing around the transformational space for years but hadn't had a chance to drop in with until this interview. What you're going to hear in this episode is his incredible story of growing up witnessing miracles in Ghana that many of us would balk at, going against his family's wishes and coming to the US when he was 18 years old, and how he interacted with feeling that he was truly being led by a higher intelligence. We talk about navigating anger, how miraculous just being here and being alive is, and he shares a great question his dad used to ask him whenever he would worry as a teenager that I totally loved. Enjoy!
About Kute Blackson:
A charismatic visionary and transformational teacher, Kute Blackson offers a fresh, bold look at spiritual awareness for a whole new generation. Born in Ghana, West Africa, Kute's multicultural upbringing as the child of a Japanese mother and a Ghanaian father has spanned four different continents. His unique lineage lay the foundation for his approach to breaking down barriers and unlocking an individual's true gifts and greatness. Kute quickly learned that the "outside-in" approach favored by so many in the personal development space had to become an inside-out approach. So he decided to create his own method—a process that liberates the individual and the true self at the core and then pushes those gifts outward into the universe. This helps the individual get in touch with who they really are. It is a process of breaking free—so that the individual can live, give, and share the truest expression of their self. This is what Kute calls "Liberated Living." Colored with experiences from his own incredible journey, Kute's debut book, You.Are.The.One., published by Simon & Schuster and released worldwide on June 7, 2016, shows readers how to unlock their true potential and live a life they love, through love. Kute is a next generation world leader out to awaken millions to Love and to Live their inspired destiny.
In this episode, Kute shares: 1. What Kute means by the title of his book "You Are The One" 2. The courage to tell the truth even when there's consequences 3. What compassion really means and how we can apply it to ourselves and others

Rachael Maddox is not only today's guest, but someone I've recently got to know better and a dear friend of Michael's. That's actually the reason you're getting to enjoy her on the show today - the last time they hung out she gifted him a copy of her book. I happened to get to it before he did and just a few chapters in I was Facebook messaging her to come on and talk specifically about healing from sexual trauma as it's something A LOT of my wild soul women face. I learned a ton and appreciate her loving nature, personal healing journey and fierce desire to serve now from the other side of things.
As this can be a super sensitive and triggering topic, please please reach out to either of us if you need any support during or after listening to this one.

I had the pleasure of attending the wedding of today's guest Alexi Panos back in July and it was absolutely the best wedding I've ever attended. The reasons why are exactly the same reason why her interview is awesome. Alexi's energy is contagious and the woman's got depth and breadth. She's super fun, sexy, and grounded while being very conscious, intentional and focused on service. We talk about her first awakening while on tour with Ja Rule back in a former life where she was a singer, how it led her to building wells in Africa for the last 11 years and what she's learned about happiness through those journeys. Enjoy!
About Alexi Panos:
Alexi Panos is a truth junkie.
She's on a mission to make personal development mainstream by synthesizing big ideas into fun, bite sized nuggets of goodness that spread throughout the world and create a ripple effect of positivity and love.
Alexi does this through speaking + facilitating workshops around the globe, dishing insights from her personal quest for truth in her books + blogs, and knocking people's socks off with her energetic YouTube Series. She created the school she always wanted to go to: SOUL SCHOOL-a global community of souls who are serious about diving deeper into what it means to be human, living their unique truth and creating with a sense of purpose. She is the co-founder of The Bridge Method (online) and The Bridge Experience (live workshops), which is a fully immersive and high octane human potential training that yields incredible results.
Alexi also facilitates global leadership training programs around the world through her non-profit E.P.I.C. (Everyday People Initiating Change) that give people the tools they need to implement global giveback initiatives to communities in need.
She's insanely committed to empowering ONE BILLION people to harness their unique gifts in order to create a Compound Inspiration Effect that truly changes our world. She shoots straight from the heart and takes no prisoners...because your life is too important to not be lived fully.
In this episode, Alexi shares:
1. How meditation is efficiency 2. What she learned about happiness by building wells in Africa 3. Healing from sexual trauma

This is a super treat today, to have another dear friend, Amy Porterfield on the show. The reason it's so exciting is because I get to talk to Amy about things most people don't since her business is about social media marketing and doesn't really involve sharing much about her personal life. We get into being the primary breadwinner and how she appreciates her husband as a provider in many other ways, we talk about her experience being a step-mom, and we riff on the many intricacies of living in this interesting social media age we're in right now. Enjoy and share if you know anyone these topics apply to (which I have a feeling you do!).
About Amy Porterfield:
Entrepreneurs around the country depend on Amy Porterfield to show them step-by-step how to increase revenue, drive more online traffic, grow their email list, and strengthen their connection with their target market.
Drawing on her years as a content developer and marketer for some the country’s top corporations, along with her own experience in building a business from scratch, Amy provides priceless insights for a stress-free approach to starting and growing your own online business. With an email list of over 150,000 subscribers, a devoted following on social media, and a hit podcast, Amy shows that nice girls (and guys) don’t have to finish last when it comes to making a living – and a life – that you love.
In this episode, Amy shares:
1. Navigating friendship in this modern digital age
2. Being both a primary breadwinner and a step-mom and how that impacts family dynamics
This is one of those conversations that can only be described as electric. As I was interviewing today's guest, Nancy Levin, we were both so into what was coming up, it felt like two girls on a spiritual playground climbing the monkey bars of life's deepest questions. We talk about desire and authenticity, the relationship between anger, sadness and grief. We get into how to take your power back by owning the qualities of yourself you've buried or denied, and of course, financial ease. I hope you all love this one as much as I do - it's a gem!

Today I've got my new gal pal Lori Harder on the show and I want to tell you what I appreciate about her most - being a fitness model and having a super successful network marketing business, Lori is a person we could all easily judge on many levels using the good old, "Easy for her..." In this conversation you get to hear how it isn't always easy for her, why she keeps going and how she does when it's not, and the value of earning your happy. This woman is shining her light super brightly in the world and committed to learning as she goes. It's a great one, enjoy!
