Taylor Payne hosts ANOTHER emergency edition of Athletic's Newcastle United podcast with club correspondent Chris Waugh and Senior Writer George Caulkin to discuss the news that Steve Bruce's time as manager is over.

Bruce's future had been in serious doubt since the club was sold by Mike Ashley just days ago and, although he remained in charge for the visit of Spurs, his 1,000th game in football management, he has now left his post. The departure was described by an official club statement as "by mutual consent".
