Emily Minotti-Watson (pictured) has put her hand up to orchestrate the "School strike for Climate" in Shepparton Friday, September 20.

The strike action will be in Shepparton's Maude St Mall from 11:00 am and will begin with brief presentations, music and noise. followed by "marches" to the extremes of the mall at both Fryers and High Street.

Emily, a Year 10, student from the city's Wanganui College, has been supported by both Slap Tomorrow, a Shepparton-based climate crisis activist group and the Goulburn Valley Environment Group.
