Those of us who are Americans are graced to live in God’s designated client nation. We have an abundance of prosperity, plenty of opportunities to grow and glorify God, and to fulfill our responsibilities as a client nation. What are the responsibilities of a client nation? The preservation and communication of the Bible, the canon of Scripture. To take the Gospel to all corners of the world. A client nation is under divine protection as long as there is a large enough pivot of mature Christians. God needs you to be a well-qualified member of the pivot. When God’s Word is ignored, the client nation is in jeopardy. “Being darkened in their understanding, excluded from the life of God because of ignorance that is in them, because of the hardness of their heart” (Eph 4:18).
