  • 05: Walter Jennings: Influencer Relations, Win/Win Opportunities and Complex Stories
I've known Walter Jennings for three years, at the time, he was leading the International KOL (Key Opinion Leaders) program for Huawei.
Today, I'm honored to host Walter, who is now a Senior Consultant at the Tantalus Consulting Group, serving as the firm’s leading expert on International Key Opinion Leaders and Influencer Relations for corporate reputation
    A Bit About the Guest
Walter Jennings is one of the most seasoned communications professionals out there. Based in Hong Kong, he is an American-Australian with 25+ years’ experience advising companies in China, Australia, and the United States. Most recently, Walter developed and led the program globally as Vice President, Global Corporate Communications at Huawei Technologies in Shenzhen, China.
As a member of Huawei's KOL program, Walter and I forged a great friendship that spanned beyond just meetings at events and social media.
Honestly, if there was a paradigm for how to manage influencer relations then Walter would be it. During his tenure, Walter was able to rally a group of international influencers and shepherd the Chinese tech company to great acclaim. In fact, Shel Israel wrote that Walter Jennings was so important.... "because he is the glue that binds together the loosely structured network called KOL"

  • 04: Empathize It : Esti Rand: Marketing Charlatans, Wheelbarrows, Mud and Sneeches
Several months ago, when the idea of this podcast was still in its ideation phases, I had the distinct pleasure to be hosted by Esti Rand on her Business Breakthrough podcast.
Now, I'm honored to host Esti who is a long-time colleague, driven entrepreneur and passionate about helping small, medium and large businesses.
    A Bit About the Guest

  • 03: Bryan Kramer: Mad Men of Marketing, Fickle Customers, and Creating Trust
When I started my podcast, I came up with a top 10 wish list of guests that I'd love to host.
Bryan Kramer was on that list.
Over the years, I've read all of his books, I've participated in his #H2H Twitter chats, learned from his content, and have listened to his videos. With such a strong community and vast years of digital and marketing experience, Bryan is a true thought leader.
As soon as I published my first episode, he was one of the first to respond and react. Within minutes of publishing my intro, Bryan interacted and we secured a time to record.
It's like a dream come true.
You'll hear it throughout the podcast. I quote his book Shareology, I ask questions about his process.
Throughout the recording, Bryan just filled the conversation with great content around the new era of marketing, engaging with empathy, and working with C-level executives to be more mindful.
Best of all, Bryan announces for the first time that he's working on another book (yes, I've already pre-ordered it).
Bryan Kramer is a renowned social business strategist, global keynote speaker, executive coach, and bestselling author. He’s one of the world’s foremost leaders in the art and science of sharing and has been credited with instigating the #H2H human business movement in marketing and social.
He's also an up and coming comedian.
