Joe Rigney’s recent work, The Sin of Empathy, explores how abuse can occur when we neglect the reality of objective truth in our efforts to sympathize with others. I enjoyed this conversation with Joe and appreciate the way he challenges us to think more deeply about how words like empathy are used in our culture.
