The past few weeks have been busy ones for Leaving Cert students, with mock exams taking place.

As we are now in pre-exam season, with our future graduates making their all-important CAO decisions, an important thing to consider is transferable skills.

Transferable skills – or “power skills” – are becoming more desirable in graduates and the future workforce.

What makes these skills so key is that they are “human” skills that cannot be replicated by A.I. - or Artificial Intelligence.

This means someone with transferable skills has a significant advantage in the job market.
