We are often motivated by the great speeches given by Lincoln, Gandhi, or Churchill.
Our hearts race, we raise a right arm, and with fist clenched we are ready to take on the world.
Sometimes it is a simple sentence that is spoken by someone that has never reached worldwide fame.
And it is those sentences that forever change us.
Dr. Otto Janke gives you a peak into the 4 women, and 4 sentences that profoundly impacted him.

Dr. Deed Harrison is one of the most published, and researched Doctors of Chiropractic in the world.
His latest collaboration found in the journal Gait & Posture: Moustafa IM, Youssef A, Ahbouch A, Tamim M, Harrison DE. Is forward head posture relevant to autonomic nervous system function and cervical sensorimotor control? Cross sectional study. Gait and Posture 2020; 77: 29-35.
On this edition we dive into how much your posture can influence your autonomic nervous system (your autoMATIC nervous system: your digestion, immune system, cardiovascular system, etc - all the stuff that goes on automatically! )
Some of the highlights:
It is recommended that you read the article - but here is the biggest takeaway: have GREAT posture. You can learn (especially in today's technological times) to have very bad posture - and you can learn to have GREAT posture. So get great posture. Your health depends on it.

Jonathan received his Bachelor of Science in Biology and Physiology in 2016, and his Master of Science in Kinesiology– with an emphasis on exercise rehabilitation – in 2018, both from McMaster University. Currently, he is completing his PhD in the exercise metabolism research group, under the supervision of Dr. Stuart Phillips. His research focuses on understanding mechanisms of human skeletal muscle hypertrophy (i.e., resistance training) and skeletal muscle atrophy (i.e., single-leg immobilization), with an application of nutritional interventions – such as omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids, and dietary protein – to augment and/or mitigate these effects. Jonathan also works as a clinical research assistant at the Juravinski Cancer Centre, where he is helping to investigate the effects of an aerobic exercise program in women with Stage I – III breast cancer undergoing chemotherapy.

Jen Rafferty has been a music teacher for over a decade and has become the Chairperson for the
Music Department in the Cortland City School District. I truly believe she is an Instrument for Change
in engaging more students into music. This engagement has ignited music in the community.
Jen recently finished writing a book "A Place in the Staff", and writes frequently in her blog which
can be found here: jenrafferty.com/blog.
Last year Jen lit up the stage at the Empire Longevity Symposium by doing what she loves most:
engaging people into their own music. It was great.
Give this one a listen, and get your music going.

In this episode of the Empire Longevity podcast we welcome Dr. Jack Wolfson.
Give this one a listen, maybe twice as you hear a die hard cardiologist tell
his story of following in his father's foot steps into cardiology, but not wanting
to follow his father to an early grave at 63. He made a radical change in his
view of health and health care, was osticized by his peers, and enlighted by his wife, a Chiropractor.
Pick up Dr. Wolfson's book "The Paleo Cardiologist" on Amazon,
and follow Dr. Wolfson on his site: drswolfson.com.
