So you know when you get those good ideas that just seem to pop into your head? That amazing marketing idea or plan for a new offer? Or an opportunity comes out of no where and falls into your lap?
It’s exciting when that happens, isn’t it? You get all fired up, pumped to do it, feel like your business is amazing, the sky’s the limit…and then you start thinking about how to execute it.
And that’s when the train starts to go off the tracks for you, doesn’t it? Because now that you’re thinking about how to execute on this super nifty idea, all of the logistics and commentary from your “analytical” mind pop up.
What if this idea doesn’t work?
How will I find the time to launch this new offer?
The economy isn’t good, so I’d better wait.
Hmmm, now that I look at this it seems way too expensive.
Will there be a quick ROI?
I don’t know how to do this or even know where to get help.
And as all these thoughts get rolling, you realize that pretty soon you’ve talked yourself out of your great idea, haven’t you? And you end up never executing on your cool new idea.
But it’s not really a matter of whether it’s a good or bad idea. It’s really a matter that you’re in the habit of staying in your comfort zone and thinking about how to protect your comfort zone.
Your thoughts and actions of analyzing things to death, looking for risks, playing it safe, doubting, finding reasons why things won’t work or now is not a good time, trying to control your outcomes…are all habits you have of in your thinking.
And the truth is, your thought habits are holding you back.
Because as much as you want to grow and change, your habits and the comfort of the “known” are far more powerful than your passion and motivation for your new idea. So you and your business stay the same. Unless you change your habits.
So in this episode, I talk about how you can use just two words to start to change your thought habits and influence the success and trajectory of your business.
Just TWO WORDS? Yes, that’s right – though I know you may think that sounds way too easy. But what if it really IS that easy?
So go ahead and listen to this episode now to discover all of this for yourself.
Remember: What if you win?
