Do you know yourself to be an empath? If so, what does that mean? How do you then need to manage your energy in ways that empower you rather than deplete you?

In all the years now that I’ve worked with people and their energy, I’ve seen a lot of empaths struggle with how they manage their energy, how they can get lost in all they hold and feel and sense in the world around them.

As one who senses and feels so much, it’s easy to get stuck in the fullness of it, to the point of harm. To the point of feeling out of balance and misunderstood.

So let’s talk about being an empath and how to manage your energy.

There’s a sweet spot that’s on the other side of where you are – in thinking, in what you believe, and what you can energetically maintain … that is the next stage of your growth. It’s as though your body, your energy, and your nervous system recognize it. And even though it may seem like a big leap that’s scary, you soften into it. It’s your next stepping stone on your path. If you’re looking to create change, you want to find that step and go for it. Because to stop shy of it feels off energetically.

In this episode, I’m chatting about how you can find this energetic zone and how you relax into that energy. I chat a bit too about resistance, because going big isn't always easy... but oh so much better on your energy.

Have you ever picked a word for the year and come July totally forgotten about it? I have. Lots of people do.

Staying with our process can be challenging. Resistance is real. Life gets in the way. The next thing takes over our thoughts. But what if you had a way to stay with it? A bit of a system?

In this episode, I’m chatting about how you can stay with the core ideas that matter to you, to track your evolution, to keep an eye on how you are growing and who you are becoming in relationship to this word of yours - this growth you seek.

And it begins with a few simple questions to ask yourself to get you back to what you know so you can work from there.

How might you grow if you had a plan to stay with your process as the year unfolds? Hmmm.

What if you set time aside every week to keep coming back to the word you picked for the year or the core ideas you are working with? What if you had a way to keep moving that forward in your awareness?

There’s a fun way that I like to call in new things, a manifestation tool I guess. And as we wind down 2020, when so many of us begin to think about what’s to come in the new year – and I dare say even what we want to create for ourselves – I’m playing with this very magical way of tapping into what I want to call into being… and why.

It’s a game. It’s playful and creative… my kind of energy work.

Today, in the quiet hours of the morning, I was thinking about all the stressors we’re each dealing with, quite aware that mine are different than yours - people are struggling in many ways. And of course, the holidays are here where even in a normal year, they can be stressful. This year, stress is playing a role in our lives in ways we may not even totally be aware of.

And sitting with my thoughts on the world and the different forces that are challenging us, I was guided into a journey of my chakras. And there I found a whole story of stress that I was holding in my chakras, what I had picked up simply by being human, and what was mine to look at. Stress was tucked away in places I’d not normally go looking for it.

And so, in this episode, let’s go on that chakra journey… an exploration into the energies that are tucked away, maybe adding to, or a result of, all that the world is tossing your way right now.

Finding a word for the year is a popular thing. It can be empowering to choose a word that feels aligned with where you want to grow or who you know you are becoming. But we all know that life can take us on a ride, where Spirit lets us know it has an entirely different level of growth and awareness for us to focus on.

2020 felt like that. I feel like we have all lived a lifetime in this year. So much has happened that it’s almost overwhelming to think back through what we have been asked to look at, own, and step into.

And so when I started seeing the posts about who has a word for the new year, I wasn’t ready to go there. I’m not done with this one. And words didn’t feel like a starting point to lean into how this year has changed me, to even know what I needed from 2021.

But color did.

In this episode, I share a way to play with color to help you tell the story of your year. To see a colorful story of you.

I hear them all the time when I take clients into their inner world, where they meet with their intuition to find their way.

And these 3 little words shut down their inner wisdom in the most potent of ways, locking them in a battle for what will guide them forward.

You are intuitive. Within you is everything you need to engage in this lovely process of communication and awareness with the energy around you, the information you’re looking for.

And yet it’s so easy to feel separated from this wisdom, this ability - and the personal power it supports.

I’ve come to believe that empowerment is the work of our intuition. And the more we can come to know how to listen within and trust our own wisdom, use that in ways that work for us, the more empowered we become. The more we step onto the path that is ours. And the more we connect with a world beyond what we know, but a world that guides us in all we do

So, in this episode, I’m talking about intuition and empowerment… you and me, claiming both.

Manifesting… creating. We don’t will things into being, we co-create what feels aligned with us, what serves us in some ways. And when we can slow down and feel into the energy around us to create with, we’re all the more powerful.

Seasonal shifts are potent times to be aware of the energy and how we dance with it. When we use this energetic knowledge to help us shift our energy and find our way, we amplify our creative process. We amplify the creative energy that available to use through Nature’s cycles and seasons, to find a flow.

Whether you’re creating something with your work, your business or with your life, tuning into this seasonal rhythm that’s upon us can offer you a way through with more ease.
