What are you ashamed of? Are you ashamed of your body? Of your home? Of your job? Your friends? Your clothes? Living a life ashamed can be confusing and heartbreaking all at the same time. Once the wall comes crashing down, the others aren’t far behind. You feel you want to crawl under a rock and disappear completely. Nothing ever stacks up when you’re carrying major shame in your life.
Shame is one of the most destructive and debilitating emotions humans can feel and occurs when people feel bad about themselves in comparison to their standards for themselves as well as those of society. Feelings of shame can lead people to engage in self-destructive and risky behaviors, such as alcohol and drug abuse, and can also cause long-term physical and emotional problems, including bodily pain, depression, low self-esteem, and anxiety. However, you can avoid this path entirely by making a concerted effort to let go of shame and instead value yourself and your contributions to the world. It's important to remember that you are so much more than just the one thing you may have done, said, or felt.
If you answered yes to any one of these then let's talk!

Are you masking who you really are with your personality? What is the face you show most often to the world? Masks exist to conceal who we really are, or what we fear most. They exist as the wall between the world and our pain. We hide our trauma behind them, our true desires. We put on the face of someone else in order to create the connections we crave. Let's chat about this so we can gain an understanding of the different types of masks we wear.
TUNE-IN
Masking has become a means of survival for a lot of us. Personality is one of the primary means through which we form our deepest bonds, and it informs everything from our lifestyles to the families that we build. Some of us aren’t always in touch with our most authentic personalities, though. We hide behind masks that serve to conceal what we’re unsure of. So, are you masking who you really are? What is the face you show most often to the world?
Let's chat about this so we can gain an understanding of the different types of masks we wear, Join me Monday!

Who are you?
When you're all by yourself When the spotlight isn't on you anymore? After that curtain call? Who are you,
When you drop the facades. When you remove that mask that hides your true identity at the end of the day? Who are you,
When you look at yourself in the mirror, when you see eye to eye, with what's real? Who are you? When all your guards are let down,
When the vulnerability starts to ooze out, because it can't be contained any longer? Who are you really?
Let's talk about it!

Bipolar depression is part of a larger condition called bipolar disorder. Specifically, the “lows” that you may be feeling, those moments of hopelessness, these are the possible symptoms of the depressive moments associated with bipolar disorder. We all experience grief in different ways. Knowing your style can help you heal more effectively. Grief is a strong, sometimes overwhelming emotion for people, regardless of whether their sadness stems from the loss of a loved one or from a terminal diagnosis they or someone they love to have received.
They might find themselves feeling numb and removed from daily life, unable to carry on with regular duties while saddled with their sense of loss. Grief is the natural reaction to loss. Grief is both a universal and a personal experience. Individual experiences of grief vary and are influenced by the nature of the loss. Some examples of loss include the death of a loved one, the ending of an important relationship, job loss, loss through theft or the loss of independence through disability. LET'S TALK.
