But first, you know I had to react to the new trailer for Martin McDonagh’s upcoming film The Banshees of Inisherin (Spoiler alert: it was very funny). I thought I figured out a really good format for the show last week. But unfortunately my energy bar just ran out. So instead, I dove deep into three topics: Elvis Presley and Nardo Wick making a song together (0:38), Roe v. An hour-long solo episode? Didn’t think I still had that in the tank tbh. The structure for this week’s episode is slightly different. I divided it into two sections: The Deep Dive(s) and The Quick Hits. For the first section, I make my case for why the hate for Drake’s surprise new album is unjustified (3:12) and break down this year’s XXL Freshmen list (23:22).
