Socio-cultural centres serve as vibrant hubs where culture, community, and sustainability converge. They possess the potential to act as catalysts for dialogue, knowledge sharing, and collective action, making them indispensable in addressing the multifaceted challenges confronting our global society. In a rapidly changing world riddled with complexity, they are uniquely positioned to play a pivotal role in steering transitions in a manner that is just, impactful and lasting.

Through close collaboration with 100+ of our members, over the past months we carried out an action-led research effort aimed to identify, develop and amplify roles that align with and contribute to just sustainability transitions.

On Friday, April 26th at 15:00 CET, our working group on Inclusion and Accessibility in Socio-cultural Centres held an interactive online talk with Lisette Reuter, founder and director of Cologne-based social entreprise Un-Label.

Un-Label operates in the field of inclusive art and culture through consulting, knowledge dissemination, artistic production, professionalisation of cultural practitioners, networking, advocacy, and research. Through this multi-layer action, their goal is to promote "inclusive openness" within the German and the European cultural landscapes.
