In this message I begin by telling a story about a little 3 wheeler car my uncle used to have. If you took the reverse gear out of this car, you were allowed to drive at the age of 16 (normal age was 17). Everything was great until you had to back up.......then you had a problem!It's the same in our lives. Life is great until you back up.......then you are going to have problems. Our Christian walk should never involve us back tracking or falling back- it's a forward walk in God.Listen as we discuss the importance of constantly moving forward, giving you tools for the journey (Biblical Principles).

For too many the Christian Walk has become ONE of total ogligation........the feelings, the joy , the desire has gone. The mindset of many when it comes to fasting is all about 'Abstaining.' With that type of mindset which is the Old Covenant way.......fasting is all about obtaining the favor and mercy of God. Convincing Him to change His mind.We are now a part of a new mindset, the New Covenant. It's not about obtaining anything, but learning to live in 'those' things that God has already made available to us thru the CROSS.Our mindset of fasting must be to celebrate the Goodness of God upon our lives.
