With this episode... we're rapping up season 4 of ETE!  Wooohoo!!!

We have LEARNED a metric ton in this season!

Some of my favorites were:

Warren Bennis - (PhD and consultant who is considered the father of modern day leadership studies) and he said, “In life, change is inevitable. In business, chance is vital!”

So… I was inspired by that. I wanted to create a little space so I could be focused on making some of the changes we need and want to make... so we can keep building a business I love... AND keep doing the things we feel called to do. So, I’m going to take about a month off between season 4 and season 5.

I may pop back in from time to time… because I don’t know that I can stay away that long. HA!

But that’s going to give us a little time to launch a few new training initiatives… and it will give me a little down time. Because you have to give yourself some space… to be able to reset and make the changes you want and need to make!  So you can be visionary and proactive… as opposed to being reactionary and feeling like you're chasing the crowd. Do you agree?

I bet you do... because... we know that it's VITAL… especially as you’re becoming the WELL-PAID ENCOURAGER you deserve to be.  The WELL-PAID and SUCCESSFUL ENCOURAGER… the world needs you to be. 

You’ve got to take care of yourself… so you can bring your very best!  

And since I practice what I preach… I’m going to do just that.

In the meantime... I want to invite you to do a few things.

We're on our mission towards launching 1 million dreams!

Today is a SPIRITUAL SUNDAY Episode. AND it's Father's Day... so let's double dip!

I'm sharing a powerful story of a father... which is also a great example of Jesus's coaching style!

But if you stick around... today... we're talking about a story where a group of "outsiders" asked Jesus a question, "What is God like?" More specifically, the question behind the question was more like "What does God think about me?"

Luke 15: 11-24

To illustrate the point further, Jesus told them this story: “A man had two sons. The younger son told his father, ‘I want my share of your estate now before you die.’ So his father agreed to divide his wealth between his sons.

“A few days later this younger son packed all his belongings and moved to a distant land, and there he wasted all his money in wild living. About the time his money ran out, a great famine swept over the land, and he began to starve. He persuaded a local farmer to hire him, and the man sent him into his fields to feed the pigs. The young man became so hungry that even the pods he was feeding the pigs looked good to him. But no one gave him anything.

“When he finally came to his senses, he said to himself, ‘At home even the hired servants have food enough to spare, and here I am dying of hunger! I will go home to my father and say, “Father, I have sinned against both heaven and you, and I am no longer worthy of being called your son. Please take me on as a hired servant.”’

“So he returned home to his father. And while he was still a long way off, his father saw him coming. Filled with love and compassion, he ran to his son, embraced him, and kissed him. His son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against both heaven and you, and I am no longer worthy of being called your son.[b]’

“But his father said to the servants, ‘Quick! Bring the finest robe in the house and put it on him. Get a ring for his finger and sandals for his feet. And kill the calf we have been fattening. We must celebrate with a feast, for this son of mine was dead and has now returned to life. He was lost, but now he is found.’ So the party began.

I recently had someone new to being a Success Coach ask if they could really call themselves a PROFESSIONAL if they haven't been paid well to do it yet.

I love this question because I struggled with it too. You work hard to prepare yourself and get your systems in place... but sometimes it's hard to think of yourself as a true PRO... until someone pays you well to do it. BUT then that can become a vicious cycle... because if you don't feel like a PRO... it's hard to have the confidence you need to ask for $5K... or $10K... or more.

If you can relate... I offer this story and strategy to help you see yourself as the PRO that you are! And... start charging the rates you deserve!

We had a great question get submitted by someone in The Coach Mindset - our elite life coach training and certification.

They're in the section where we discuss how to ask great questions and they responded to a statement I made where I mention that as a Success Coach... sometimes I feel like I'm at my best when I'm coaching someone in a role or industry where I have NO experience.

So... they asked the great question: "How can you charge thousands of dollars to coach someone without having experience in their world?"

Ohhhhhh this is so important... so I'm glad they asked.

By the way... I mention a Bible verse in this episode. Specifically Ephesians 3:16 - 21... so I wanted to share it here.

14 For this reason I bend my knees before the Father, 15 from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name, 16 that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner self, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and height and depth, 19 and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled to all the fullness of God.

20 Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, 21 to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations [p]forever and ever. Amen.
