Whew! Yes. THIS discussion is SOOOOO important!

Because we all want to build a business and a life that allows us to achieve OUR unique version of SUCCESS!

The challenge is... most people aren't intentional with this.

So... they might be working hard... but they don't know the target they're aiming for. OR... their definition of success is "accidental." Meaning... they have a target... but if they're being honest... it's someone else's target (definition of success) that they just agreed with... accidentally. You know that feeling. The one where someone else said they wanted the sports cars, the boat and the mansion... but YOU know... you want to live a life where you provide a great life for your family... live deeply connected... and give back in awesome ways. (By the way... you can have the sports cars... the boat and the mansion... as well as love your family well and give back in big ways... BUT you can't do any of that accidentally.)

In order to hit YOUR definition of SUCCESS... you have to know what the TARGET is and then go after it INTENTIONALLY.

So... I have a quick STRATEGY for you to try out to help you to DEFINE or REDEFINE your version of SUCCESS!

Catherine A is a new Encouraging the Encouragers listener! (Welcome Catherine!) And she asked a great question related to episode 175!

Recently... I was having a conversation with a Life Coach who's business was growing RAPIDLY!

A LOT was happening and the Coach was feeling a little frantic and overwhelmed.

I started our call in the way that I normally do... with a question of, "What's something that working right now? What's something you're excited about?"

Like I said, I knew a LOT has been happening with the Coach... so I wasn't surprised that they had some difficulty coming up with a response.

Now... a LOT of good things were happening. New clients signing up! Lots of client interaction. A LOT of good stuff. But it was all coming FAST!

This Coach was struggling a bit... so we had to have THIS important conversation!

It's MOTIVATION MONDAY... my friend. But this is a VERY SPECIAL Motivation Monday Episode!

That's right! It's Memorial Day... in the US today.

And although I know that many of you listen from other parts of the world... (And I'm sooooo glad you do!), I thought THIS episode could include a specific assignment for Coaches, Speaker s and Content Creators to help you to HONOR and REMEMBER those who have paid the ultimate price to protect us and keep us safe and free!

So... with THIS episode... I'm going to suggest that you take your amazing question asking skills... and to find someone who knew someone who passed away serving their country... and get curious. That's right!

Ask some questions. Honor their story by asking about it.

It might be a relative... or a friend... or a neighbor... but ask. You might be surprised by some of the responses. You might be surprised by some of the inspiring and humbling stories that exist in your family's history... or your friend's background... or in your neighbor's service to others. You just never know.

And hey... as a Coach, Speaker and Content Creator... you ask questions better than most! So why not honor someone around you... but being curious? By being fully present and interested? By asking... and actually listening to their stories?

What might happen?

It might only take a few minutes... but it might also make THIS a Memorial Day to remember for THEM and for YOU!
