Okay... we're going to do a little lesson in Greek for our SPIRITUAL SUNDAY episode.

That's right!

We're talking about a specific Greek word that's used in Ephesians 3 of the New Testament of the Bible. (It's also tattooed on my right arm!)

The word is: perissou.

Roughy translated... it means: "exceedingly abundantly."

According to linguists and theologians... this word is a rare double compound that's not found in older Greek literature but is found in biblical writings, is an adverb... that means "exceedingly and very highly."

Now... why does THIS word matter?

Well... it's tucked into one of my favorite verses in the Bible... and it speaks to the AMAZING things that can happen in... through... with... and for us... when we start to realize how much God loves us!

Here's the verse: Ephesians 3:14-21

14 For this reason I bend my knees before the Father, 15 from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name, 16 that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner self, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and height and depth, 19 and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled to all the fullness of God.

20 Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly (or exceedingly... abundantly) beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, 21 to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations [p]forever and ever. Amen.

That's right.

Did you catch it?

The Bible is saying that when we realize how much God loves us (which the scripture also says it's too much for us to understand!)... THEN we can DO MORE than we could hope... dream... or imagine.

EXCEEDINGLY... ABUNDANTLY... more.

How cool is THAT?

Meditate on THAT today.

Just see where it takes you!

Stay encouraged and we'll talk tomorrow.

Yup... let's talk about it.

Values.

Yup... VALUES.

Seriously... what kind of VALUES do you want to use to guide your coaching and speaking business... so it can be something that GROWS in a way so that it doesn't become a "bad fit" job. That's right! You have the ability to call the shots. You are creating something.

So... you want to get intentional about the VALUES you live by... and guide your business by.

Let's talk about THAT... and a 5 minute exercise that I think you'll LOVE!

So... as my wife and I are in California for some R&R... we went to the brand-new Academy Museum of Motion Pictures... at the urging of our friend and frequent DREAM THINK DO Guest Howard Berger. (Howard's an Oscar-winning special effects artist who... I'm honored to say... has been on my other podcast DTD three times!)

As we were exploring the museum... I came across a yellow sheet of legal paper... encased in a glass box.

When I realized what it was... my jaw hit the floor. (You'll have to listen to the episode to hear what it was!)

I'll say this... it was a list of names.

When it was made... it was an IMPOSSIBLE list!

It was a total long shot.

But... it was a dream team.

The perfect cast.

A vision.

Studios said no.

The world said it couldn't happen.

But... the director stayed with the vision and the list... and he made it happen!

So... it got me thinking... what if YOU created that list.

A dream team... for YOU?

Listen in... and then get out a legal pad... and get to writing YOUR list!

Let's gooooooooooo!

Okay... if we're hanging out on social media together... you might know that I've been on vacation for the last 7+ days!

(By they way... let's connect on Facebook and the Instagrams!)

That's right... my bride and I have been away for a trip to California to see our son and have some much-needed R&R.

TOTAL downtime.

No emails.

Very little social media.

BUT... I was able to stay consistent with Encouraging the Encouragers because I used our P.A.P. model.

PRODUCE

ARCHIVE

PUBLISH.

That's right.

This simple model will allow you to PRODUCE content when you can. Then... you can ARCHIVE it so you don't loose track of it. And then you can PUBLISH it when you need it.

That's what I did to ramp up for some time away.

I PRODUCED a little extra content over the weeks leading up to our trip.

I ARCHIVED it in a way so I could keep track of what I'd done... so I could pull it up when I needed it.

Then... I PUBLISHED it by scheduling it out over the days we're gone.

So... it can run without me.

Powerful stuff.

And something YOU can do... so you can PRODUCE content when the Spirit moves and you're feeling the flow of good ideas! Then... find a way to ARCHIVE it... so you can pull on it when you need it. And... then hit PUBLISH when the time is right!

Hope this helps.

Stay ENCOURAGED my friend.

The world needs YOU!

MONDAY MOTIVATION

Okay... seriously!

It's time to CLEAN UP YOUR FEED!!!

Especially if you've ever been tempted to think that EVERYONE is a coach!

Does it happen... you're on social... and BOOM! You see an ad for a new program promising 300 new clients in the next two days! Scroll again... and WHAM... you see a sponsored post from a coach saying he's saved the world... and then you scroll again and POW... you see another ad offering you some whiz-bang strategy to make a million dollars by next Tuesday as a coach.

Ever been there?  I sure have.

And if you have that experience... it's easy to think the WHOLE WORLD is a coach.

But... it's not the case.

It's because the social media platforms like FACEBOOK and INSTAGRAM are listening.

And since YOU are excited about being a COACH and a SPEAKER... and you're talking about that with friends, family and clients... those platforms serve up all sorts of programs and offerings to try to sell you.  Hence... it's easy to assume the WHOLE WORLD coaches.

But... trust me... most people don't see ANYTHING about coaching.  Because their feeds are inundated with the stuff THEY are talking about.

The good news is... there's a simple strategy to clean up your feed and we're talking about THAT today.

Give it a try!

LMK what YOU think.
