So... as my wife and I are in California for some R&R... we went to the brand-new Academy Museum of Motion Pictures... at the urging of our friend and frequent DREAM THINK DO Guest Howard Berger. (Howard's an Oscar-winning special effects artist who... I'm honored to say... has been on my other podcast DTD three times!)

As we were exploring the museum... I came across a yellow sheet of legal paper... encased in a glass box.

When I realized what it was... my jaw hit the floor. (You'll have to listen to the episode to hear what it was!)

I'll say this... it was a list of names.

When it was made... it was an IMPOSSIBLE list!

It was a total long shot.

But... it was a dream team.

The perfect cast.

A vision.

Studios said no.

The world said it couldn't happen.

But... the director stayed with the vision and the list... and he made it happen!

So... it got me thinking... what if YOU created that list.

A dream team... for YOU?

Listen in... and then get out a legal pad... and get to writing YOUR list!

Okay... if we're hanging out on social media together... you might know that I've been on vacation for the last 7+ days!

(By they way... let's connect on Facebook and the Instagrams!)

That's right... my bride and I have been away for a trip to California to see our son and have some much-needed R&R.

TOTAL downtime.

No emails.

Very little social media.

BUT... I was able to stay consistent with Encouraging the Encouragers because I used our P.A.P. model.

PRODUCE

ARCHIVE

PUBLISH.

That's right.

This simple model will allow you to PRODUCE content when you can. Then... you can ARCHIVE it so you don't loose track of it. And then you can PUBLISH it when you need it.

That's what I did to ramp up for some time away.

I PRODUCED a little extra content over the weeks leading up to our trip.

I ARCHIVED it in a way so I could keep track of what I'd done... so I could pull it up when I needed it.

Then... I PUBLISHED it by scheduling it out over the days we're gone.

So... it can run without me.

Powerful stuff.

And something YOU can do... so you can PRODUCE content when the Spirit moves and you're feeling the flow of good ideas! Then... find a way to ARCHIVE it... so you can pull on it when you need it. And... then hit PUBLISH when the time is right!

MONDAY MOTIVATION 

Okay... seriously! 

It's time to CLEAN UP YOUR FEED!!!  

Especially if you've ever been tempted to think that EVERYONE is a coach!  

Does it happen... you're on social... and BOOM! You see an ad for a new program promising 300 new clients in the next two days! Scroll again... and WHAM... you see a sponsored post from a coach saying he's saved the world... and then you scroll again and POW... you see another ad offering you some whiz-bang strategy to make a million dollars by next Tuesday as a coach.  

Ever been there?  I sure have.

And if you have that experience... it's easy to think the WHOLE WORLD is a coach.

But... it's not the case.

It's because the social media platforms like FACEBOOK and INSTAGRAM are listening.

And since YOU are excited about being a COACH and a SPEAKER... and you're talking about that with friends, family and clients... those platforms serve up all sorts of programs and offerings to try to sell you.  Hence... it's easy to assume the WHOLE WORLD coaches.

But... trust me... most people don't see ANYTHING about coaching.  Because their feeds are inundated with the stuff THEY are talking about.

The good news is... there's a simple strategy to clean up your feed and we're talking about THAT today.

Okay... so we're leaning on Philippians 4:4-9 today.

But we're also going to talk about a little BRAIN SCIENCE and a WORD PICTURE to help this famous verse stick with you.  

Especially if you've been a little tempted to worry lately!

PHILIPPIANS 4:4-9

Always be full of joy in the Lord. I say it again—rejoice! Let everyone see that you are considerate in all you do. Remember, the Lord is coming soon.[c]

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from me—everything you heard from me and saw me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you.

Okay... I'm leaning into a phrase I first heard about when I interviewed ad exec Sam Griffin for my OTHER podcast... DREAM THINK DO.

As you'll hear... when Sam was first considering a BIG career move... he experienced a LOT of fear.  But a trusted mentor shared a priceless piece of advice that changed his relationship with fear.  And it's also allowed him to breakthrough and have an INCREDIBLE career and life.

It's so powerful that I wanted to share it with you here.

Because let's face it... in order to become the WELL PAID ENCOURAGER you deserve to be... you're going to have to face some fears.  Fear of potential embarrassment... if things don't go well.  Fear of learning new things.  Fear of stretching.  Fear of crazy wild success!  

Yup... all of that and more!

Okay... an interesting discussion came up in my mastermind for coaches & speakers.

It started with the subject of PODCASTING.  Then... the conversation drifted into the realization that a large chunk of your audience may... in fact... NEVER buy anything from you.

That's when it happened.  A new coach asked a great question.  In short, she said, "Why the heck would you work so hard to produce something that might not bring you any business?"

And whew!  That sparked a GREAT conversation.  So... I wanted to share some of the insights from the discussion.  Plus, encourage YOU to produce VALUE-BASED CONTENT that will help more people than just your Ideal Client.
