When they find out that I communicate with Spirits they have this image of the Sixth Sense, where they think I am actually seeing dead people that look like reanimated corpses. And that’s not how I experience it. Ep 14: I think of toxic people as a spectrum. At one end there are the basic garden-variety toxic people who aren’t consciously aware that they are toxic. Then at the other end of the spectrum there are the psychic vampires (or energy vampires) who are fully aware of what they are doing. What's the difference? How can you spot a psychic vampire? Ep 13: Self-care is for the mind, body, and spirit. Everyone should practice self-care, but healers especially. You don’t want to fall into the healer trap where you’re so concerned about taking care of everyone else that you forget about yourself. You can’t help anyone from an empty cup. You can’t help everyone get their oxygen masks on when you’re out of air to breathe. By practicing self-care in a nourishing, mindful way, you’re also working on healing chakra imbalances.
