Ep 12: I like to think of an altar as your own personal sacred space. It can be where you practice magic, pray, meditate, worship, give offerings, honor deities or elements, or just where you keep things that have special meaning to you. An altar doesn’t have to look witchy to be an altar. Your altar should look however you want it to look. Ep 11: The spring equinox has just passed so this guided meditation for new beginnings is perfect for right now. It would also be a good meditation to do during the new moon. The meditation is meant to help you let go of anything that's still sticking around that doesn't need to be there so that you can move into your new beginning from a fresh place. Do the meditation whenever it's safe for you to do so (i.e. not while driving a car). Ep 10: The spring equinox (or vernal equinox, or Ostara) is this week! The spring equinox is when there are equal parts light and dark which makes it a great time to reflect on the idea of balance. Spring is also about new beginnings, fertility, and rebirth which makes it a great time to set goals and plan ahead. Ep 09: The labyrinth is a place where guidance is revealed and realizations are made. The spiral design of the labyrinth is representative of a spiraling inward journey to peel back the layers of emotion and unraveling the story you need to hear. Spirals represent the journey of life and change - of birth, death- and rebirth - and how this cycle keeps on going without end. Ep 08: Kitchen witchery is basically infusing your everyday tasks at home with magic. It’s really easy to do and just takes some mindfulness on your part. Creativity and intention are a big part of cooking up magical dishes. I have several ideas as to how you can practice kitchen magick, like enchanting herbs or using color. Ep 07: As human beings going about our day rushing around from one thing to the next, and a lot of us being cooped up inside for the majority of our lives, it’s easy to forget that we are a part of nature and not separate from it. It’s magical when you start to pay attention to the rhythms of the natural world and begin working with them rather than against them. You can also enhance this relationship by adding magic into the mix.  The phases of the moon carry different energy which we can harness in our lives. I'll share some ideas as to how to do this.
