Max O’Keeffe, who hails from Ennis, has spastic diplegia cerebral palsy.

This would normally be a major stumbling block to any sporting ambitions.

However, the ten-year-old is on the cusp of realising his sporting dreams, thanks to his golden retriever, Nicky.
