  • The Rock Says - "I Dont Like Cockiness, it Makes me Wanna Come Back" Stephen Ormond
We hear from 2 fellas at very different stages of their lives and indeed boxing careers. Stevie McKenna is a few days away from making his UK TV debut on Channel 5. He chats about the transition he and Aaron have made, how they came home just before lockdown and have effectively been in camp ever since. He chats about training with Freddie Roach and that now infamous spat with Ryan Garcia.
Stephen Ormond on the other hand has seen it all, done it all & owns many t-shirts. In his fighting days - which werent all that long ago he was in with the best and whislt results and things may not have always gone his way - that didn't and couldnt ever define 'The Rock'. What people rememer him for is what you'll hear on this episode - honest, geuine, straight talking and hard working. A huge crowd pleaser.
We'll also look back at some strange contradictory comments from Delphine Persoon (again), the Jeff Horn v Tim Tszyu fight and ahead to all the news and announcements of the last while.

  • Fight Size 5 Mark Dunlop
Anto  Cacace recently referred to hiim as the 'Magic Man Mark Dunlop' an intro David Diamante or Buffer himself would be proud of.
Mark is widely regarded and respected as being one of the hardest working managers in the game, as a fella who represents and works for THE FIGHTER first, and as the man who is taking fighters on to the biggest and best stage of world boxing.
As he says himself the offers come thick and fast but he has chosen meticulously and chosen well - who to represent.
Mark Dunlop is a man who I believe is so much more of a 'do'er' than a talker - so it makes his chat with me on this episode all the more special.

  • Fight Size 4 - Dave Coldwell
You could be forgiven for forgetting just how much Dave Coldwell has done in boxing. Or indeed for how long he has been around the sport. From his childhood years training under Brendan Ingle and where he made a very special group of friends and built eveeything he's needed for life - not
just in boxing. Afer his brief pro career he set out training boxers like Kell Brook (British Title) Ryan Rhodes (European) and then into the murky waters of management and promotion. Then on tothe biggest stage with David Haye at the peak of his career where negotioating with Golden Boy promotions, Klitchko and the rest taught him all he needed for a future that saw him live so manyspecial nights as coach and mentor to Tony Bellew.
He chats about all of that in this episode and more and also tells us how maybe he didnt take timeto live in those moments - to enjoy them, saying "I think as people we're chasing the future too much". It's a wonderful insight to a man who has managed, mentored and coached so many and helped them to realise their dreams.

  • Fight Size 3 - Sam Egglington

Boxing is littered wit fairytale stories of accidental champions, unfortunate also-rans and pretty much evrrything else in between - Sam Egglington's story is quite possibly the best of them all. IN this episode he chats with Al about a series of lightbulb moments in a life that went from him being a redundant forklift driver with no interest or knowledge in boxing, to beinga Midlands Area Champion, on to being a Commonwealth champion and signed with Matchroom Boxing. That catipulted him into a succession of card topping, title fights and entertaining fans all around the world, yet the magnitude of those events or results never affected him and as he tells us here - certainly never defined him.
Sam is without doubt one of the sport of boxing's most genine, humble and nice guys and its a pleasureto have him on the show.
