  • The 30 Day Home Co-ownership Challenge - Entrepreneur Podcast Network – EPN

Di Ferrara, the Owner of Home Addressed, an online business that is dedicated to enlightening the struggling first home buyers in Australia joins Enterprise Radio.
Listen to interview with host Eric Dye & guest Di Ferrara discuss the following:

    * You’re in the business of helping first home buyers break into the very expensive real estate market in Australia. What inspired you to create your site Home Addressed?
    * You use progressive strategies that are proving very beneficial for first time buyers. Can you give us an overview of what your site does?
    * So why aren’t more people doing what you are doing? What is the government doing by way of helping First Home Buyers?
    * You are currently based in Australia and concentrating on this market but can you see wider application for what you are doing in other parts of the world?
    * You seem to be constantly coming at this home ownership crisis from different perspectives and your latest is a challenge for struggling first time buyers. You suggest that they can go from renters to homeowners in a 30 day period?
    * So typically, who would look at this challenge and go…yeah, this is for me?

TIP:  When I was young, I always thought I had all the time in the world. I bought my first house with my sister at 26 upon my father’s insistence. I was completely resistant to the idea of it but from where I’m standing now, I can only thank my father for having the foresight to set us on the right path. I urge young buyers to understand that using the co-buying strategy is a stepping stone to a strong financial foundation and future. Use time and couple it with action and you will invite success into your lives. Don’t listen to those who have only negative things to say but undertake your own investigation and become an informed buyer. Enter the Challenge and change your life!
Di Ferrara, Owner of Home Addressed, started her professional life as a teacher. Over the years she watched incredulously the rising cost of real estate in Australia and knew that first home buyers would be priced out of the market and doomed to rent. It wasn’t long before her teaching instinct kicked in and Home Addressed was born. The site is an amalgam of strategies that not only offer creative and functional solutions to aspiring home buyers but it turbo charges their opportunities of becoming homeowners years ahead of their peers. It is really an extension of her teaching as she imparts her knowledge to a new generation of homebuyers who face unprecedented challenges in a changing landscape and offers them guidance and wisdom gained from her own experiences over many years.
Her latest effort to assist young buyers, has seen the creation of the 30 Day Home Co-ownership Challenge. This utilises the site’s flagship strategy of co-ownership and will see struggling first home buyers pair up with like minded individuals on the Home Addressed site. There is a 30 day time frame in which the challengers will find each other and be poised to buy at the end of the 30 days. They will be guided by the Challenge detailed criteria and their application must be submitted by the designated date in order for them to be in the running to receive a Kickstarter Pack, offering a real step up into homeownership, there are 4 to be won; one couple will have a chance to win $50K in cash to put towards their home.
The Challenge will launch in the next few months so keep an eye out for it at the Home Addressed website. If you have ever wondered how you are going to break into the property market,

  • In conversation with a Foodie - Entrepreneur Podcast Network – EPN

Maurizio Racco, CEO of DRM foods who launched füdi Canada, a line of exquisitely prepared organic frozen entrées joins Enterprise Radio.
Listen to interview with host Eric Dye & guest Maurizio Racco discuss the following:

    * Where does the name füdi come from?
    * What misconceptions do people have about frozen food and how would you like to change that?
    * How has the shift in consumer trends impacted retailers’ decisions on product purchases?
    * Where do you get your inspiration for füdi flavours?
    * What influenced you to choose the sous-vide cooking method for the füdi line?

The idea for füdi was conceived in 2010 by Maurizio Racco after a late-night visit to the supermarket proved there was a void in the market for flavourful and nutritious frozen meals. With the belief that convenience should not require the consumer to forego eating healthily, füdi was born as a brand of frozen entrées that are prepared using only high quality, natural, and non-modified whole foods sourced from within a 250km radius of füdi’s HAACP-certified Brampton facilities.

  • Advice from his book, The Secret Sabbatical - Entrepreneur Podcast Network – EPN

Dr. David Cawood the author of The Secret Sabbatical: The Revolutionary Approach to Recover Your Imagination and Discover Your Destiny for the Rest of Your Life joins Enterprise Radio.
Listen to interview with host Eric Dye & guest Dr. David Cawood discuss the following:

    * How can you plan a successful life change and overcome roadblocks on the way?
    * Which three guides give your life meaning and purpose?
    * How do you recover your imagination and creativity?
    * How do you add real meaning to your life and career?
    * What powerful life lessons can we learn from Shakespeare and classic movies?

For the past decade,  David Cawood, Ph.D., MBA, B.A., CMC. has taught The Secret Sabbatical Course in one-on-one sessions with professionals and business executives, with powerful results. Now he shares the life-changing skills, tools and inspiration of this course in his new book, The Secret Sabbatical.
His practice involves three distinct but related fields—organizations, the humanities, and applied science.
David worked as a manager, then head office executive, before completing an MBA and Ph.D. and serving on the faculty of a business school.
He was a founding member of the first North American Strategic Consulting Group with what is now Deloitte. After a few years, he built an international consulting company, described as the most consistently successful strategic consultancy on the West Coast. This involved several decades of work with very large firms such as HP, De Beers and Deloitte. Clients include a wide range of organizations, from engineering, health care, and infrastructure, to education and research. In addition to the main consulting work, he designed and then handed over executive development workshops for universities and in-house colleges in several countries.
The humanities have historically recognized the power of the human imagination and offered successful examples of paths to needed change. David has kept this track of interest alive in his practice by following those who keep evolving the great traditions of the humanities through film, novels and other media. Over the years he’s offered ongoing workshops with Continuing Studies adult audiences, Jung Societies and other forums that have relevance to current personal and organizational dilemmas.
As an Adjunct Professor of Strategy and Leadership in Applied Science at the University of British Columbia David has taken a keen interest in that key intersecting realm of applied science. But his university and in-house college work can offer only a few ideas from this book, as this material is for readers willing to go on a far-ranging interdisciplinary journey—beyond any single faculty.
He lives on a creek in West Vancouver with his wife, the artist Alexis Cawood.
