Ep. 1: Double Indemnity - Murder in the Suburbs

When emergency responders arrive at a car fire on a deserted California mountain top road, they are too late to save the man trapped in the burning Volkswagen. Luckily his wife, Lucille has managed to get out of the car and call for help.

But once the fire is extinguished and the charred body of Doctor Gordon Miller is removed, investigators quickly determine that the newly widowed woman’s story just isn’t adding up. The car shows no signs of an accident but there is an empty cannister of gas on the back seat. It isn’t long before the tragic car fire is beginning to look a lot more like murder and Doctor Miller’s wife is now their prime suspect.
