On this episode of The Life of Phys Podcast, I sit down with Jonathan, a Rhode Island native, Yale graduate, portrait photographer, and Artistic Director at Mixed Magic Theatre.

Jonathan’s photography seeks to capture the delicate balance between captivating strength and relatable vulnerability, reflecting the beautiful humanity that exists in every subject. His ability to blend artistry and empathy has made his work stand out in the world of portraiture.

Since 2010, Jonathan has also served as the Artistic Director at Mixed Magic Theatre, where he has directed, written, and acted in numerous productions. His credits include August Wilson’s Fences, The Spirit Warrior’s Dream, The Baghdad Tale of Romeo and Juliet, Moby-Dick: Then & Now, Misery’s Fiend: Frankenstein, The Tempest, Art of Attack, King Lear, Great Holiday Traditions, and Dutchman — which was named a Top 10 Show of 2017.
