Divorce is something no one ever plans on. It’s the thing no one wants, until they want it and even then most hope they don’t have to really go through with it.

 

One of the reasons I see for divorces in my circle is growth. Growth is a good thing. I inspire and support people growing every day. And often that growth leads to outgrowing a relationship that you thought would never end.

With the end of a relationship comes a new money situation. For some it means taking control of finances when they haven’t ever done it before. It might mean feeling like you have to stand on your own without a safety net. It might mean more income or less income.
