A conversation with artist Hernan Bas. Bas is a Miami-based rising star in the art world whose large-scale figurative paintings typically feature scenes of young men doing curious things. These paintings have most recently taken the form of imagined conceptual artists honing their craft which were on view at Lehmann Maupin in New York titled “The Conceptualists: Volume II”.
