What happens when you walk away from a successful career to follow a creative calling?
On this episode of The P.H.Y.S Podcast, I sit down with Chicago-based photographer Nolis Anderson, a visual storyteller whose work explores culture, identity, community, and the human experience.
Before becoming a full-time photographer, Nolis earned a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Chicago State University and built a career in medicine. From the outside, it looked like a stable and successful path. But deep down, he knew something was missing.
Faced with a difficult decision, Nolis chose to leave the security of his profession behind and pursue photography full-time.
Over the last decade, that leap of faith has evolved into an extraordinary career. His documentary and editorial work has earned recognition from some of the world's most respected brands and publications, including Nike, Apple, The New York Times, and Rolling Stone.
