In the aftermath of Jo’s brutal death, and following the previous in-depth interview, Hetti had lingering questions she wanted answered including, as Jo’s best friend, why didn’t she know Jo was at risk? Why didn’t she know the risks were escalating? Why didn’t she convince Jo to protect herself?

In this authentic and honest conversation Laura answers those questions through the lens of Jo’s case, deconstructing the at-times hard to spot coercively controlling behaviours as well as highlighting what can be done to help a loved one who might be in a similar situation to Jo.
