Ann Shen is an illustrator and writer and the creative genius behind the new book Bad Girls Throughout History. In this episode, we talk about how Ann started making art in her mid-20's in a decision that took her out of her "looks good on paper" career and put her into full-time art school!

We also talked about her new book, why she decided to focus on female trailblazers, and some of the surprising lessons she learned about "history" along the way.
