Over the years I have had a number of conversations that stop short as a result of starting to sound too "Eastern" in my understanding of spirituality. So, reflecting on that experience, I thought it might be good to explore the differences to spirituality in the East and the West and see what kind of path forward there might be. Because, after all, what if authentic spirituality is both and yet, more that what the East and the West says it is?
