This week Nate and Liz talk about the mission of Fortis Fitness Studio: Redefining Strong for Everyone. We typically think of strong in a physical sense, lifting big weights, being able to move heavy objects and even having big muscles for everyone to see. However this is may only part, or it may not be at all what being strong means to you. Fortis Fitness Studio / Powerlifting was built on the idea that small consistent steps in the direction of your goals can lead to big results.
Some food for thought:
In the sport of Powerlifting, there are a handful of individuals who are chasing that number 1 spot, yet the vast majority of everyone on Open Powerlifting will never be in that position.
They are still out there competing and growing the sport.
Why is that?
Because powerlifting has never been about being the best in the world, it's about pushing your body and your mind to do things you previously thought were impossible and in doing so, Redefining Strong for Everyone.
