Our book of the week is The Vanishing Half by Brit Bennett, the follow up to her best-selling debut The Mothers.  The story of twin sisters, race and passing as white in America, it spans 40 years from the 1950s to the 1990s. It is already a New York Times Best-selller, described as 'utterly mesmerising' by Bernardine Evaristo  and has been compared with Toni Morrison. We highly recommend this one.
