We finally got him! Pastor Bill Dye, aka Andrew's Dad, aka my father-in-law, aka "Pop" is on the podcast today! It was one of those episodes where sick kids, thunderstorm warnings, sore throats, and overall oppression couldn't stop us. And although I don't think he was a big fan of the attention or public praise, he was a good sport and has such a good story. Not just the change in his life as a younger man, but the longevity and faithfulness he's walked ever since and continues still to walk. Of course we talk about his story in this episode, but we also talk on: life of a pastor, the various roles, overcoming how people viewed you before salvation, expectations, parenting as a pastor, and even withstanding criticism in a public role.
