Now that most of us are back to school let talk about classroom management. I have six tips, tools and strategies that you can think about when planning out how you will manage the behaviour in your classroom. Not all classroom management systems are designed to work the way you want them to. In my first year of teaching I had the one I was using backfire in an unexpected way. From this lesson, I learned how to really motivate kids to quash the issues that are so common in the classroom. From power struggles, to acting out, to student apathy these six tips will help you decide which system is right for you so you can avoid these common problems.
