Why was there never a LOST BOYS or MONSTER SQUAD television series? It's probably because DRACULA: THE SERIES had it covered. This one season wonder co-starred Mia Kirshner (THE L WORD) and Geraint Wyn Davies (FOREVER KNIGHT), and was about a pair of plucky American kids living with their uncle Gustav Van Helsing, next door to "Alexander Lucard," a.k.a. Dracula. They fight the forces of darkness by breaking into Dracula's house every single week, foiling the evil hell beast's plans to buy failing movie houses, hire Brooklyn psychics, and eat all the poppy seeds he can handle.
DRACULA: THE SERIES was a weird, weird show, but was it... canceled too soon? Join film critics William Bibbiani and Witney Seibold as they exhume every single episode of this mostly forgotten horror series, try to figure what the heck a "time hole" is, and read a few of your letters. Was DRACULA: THE SERIES a cult classic that doesn't have a cult yet, or does it deserve to fall into the cracks of history? You'll find out in this week's episode!
