Lots of us spend time and effort learning how to fast — it's difficult, right? Few of us realise we also have to learn how to do the opposite — feast. Yes, it makes sense to pray for the gift of feasting, because the world is constantly trying to dictate what the party looks like. It's meant to be joyful, it's meant to be life giving; not soul destroying and hangover inducing. Pray for the gift to feast well.
