Mike Tepe is back on the podcast with an early season tag notched on a Midwestern Stud! Mike is the host of our Midwest Mindset series on CarbonTV, and has poured a lot of time, work and money into managing his various whitetail habitats in the Midwest. All that hard work finally paid off on October 8th, 2023! Mike shares with us the story; a cat-and-mouse journey of his pursuit of this buck once he began daylighting. It all came down to Mike being in the wrong stand for an evening hunt, and things getting a little "western" as he made a play on this big buck feeding on his clover plot. Listen in to hear of a hunt unlike many others!
