Despite some slight audio issues with the recording, the Good Brothers are back for their third week of Static Shock reviews, with this week's discussion of the Season One episode "Tantrum." The hosts discuss a plot that deals heavily with Virgil coping with the feelings that come from losing a loved one and how running away from those feelings can often times cause long term mental health effects. Tied into the plot however as the hosts discuss, is a rather outdated stereotype that leaves the plot feeling a bit empty. Also discussed is why so many of Static's rogues use purple in their color palette, how the music feels straight out of 1996 Pixar at times and a show case of why Phil Lamarr is one of the best voice actors to ever step in front of a live microphone. All of this and a sneak preview for next week's much anticipated/demanded review to wrap up June and much more on this episode of the DCAU Review!
