The 2023 hunting seasons held a lot of firsts for members of our team, and for our show host Sam Thrash. This episode brings us back to Texas deer camp where Sam sits down with his dad, Mark to bring their season to a close. They discuss the frustrations experienced this year on Texas Dirt, lessons learned from it, and how they look to improve upon such in year 4. We always have to end it with a bang, as the title of the episode eludes. Mark shares a story that you absolutely cannot make up, having had his truck STOLEN right from the property while he was hunting! And if that isn't crazy enough on its own, Mark's 200+ pound boar was in the bed of the truck.
