Joey Covolo is a paraplanner with Blue Heron Capital based out of Denver, CO, and he joins the show today to share how he transitioned into the financial planning profession—even though it wasn't initially on his radar. After starting out as a sports journalism major in college, he pivoted to business and used a personal connection to leverage an internship that ultimately set him on the path to becoming a planner.
