Hey Sox fans! The Chicago White Sox (76-71) just won a series against the Detroit Tigers by clubbing three home runs and scoring eleven runs. Andrew Vaughn leads the team with seventeen home runs as he hit his first career grand slam on Sunday. The White Sox dealt with some inconsistent offensive production this past week, while also facing more injuries. No final decision has been made on Tony La Russa as Miguel Cairo continues to get the job done in his absence. While the Sox were battling Detroit, we were all following the Minnesota/Cleveland series. Praying for Minnesota to help us out is why games in April and May do indeed matter. The White Sox are 3.5 games back in the AL Central and begin the biggest series of the season on Tuesday against the Cleveland Guardians. Go Sox!
