Our books of the week are Empire of Pain: The Secret History of The Sackler Dynasty by Patrick Radden Keefe and Dopamine Nation: Finding Balance in the Age of Indulgence by Dr Anna Lembke.  Both books address the opioid epidemic in America, one focussing on the Sackler family and their responsibility and the other focussing on the nature of addiction.  We recommend these for Non-fiction November.
