The Sons welcome UCF Football alum Mike Palmer as their guest this week. Mike was a defensive stalwart for the Knights in the late 90s, helping to lead UCF into the D1 era. Mike shares his memories of his time as a player, including the day he found out they weren't going to a bowl game, challenging Daunte to a fight in the shower, playing through injuries, and why he will forever be afraid of spoons.

Off the field, Mike has been heavily involved in supporting UCF as a Varsity Knight and a donor, including being on the board of UCF's NIL collective, The Kingdom. To that end, Mike provides a very transparent update on where the Knights are in the NIL race, and what we need to do moving forward.
