Hey Sox fans! Welcome back to Good Guys Talk Back. Our good friend, Joey Christopoulos, fills in for Pat Hester and helps chop up the week that was for the Chicago White Sox. The Sox took two of three from the best team in baseball, the Atlanta Braves. After a very rough start to the weekend saw Michael Kopech last only 2/3 of an inning, the Sox settled down and were able to find offense and an answer to some potent Atlanta bats. Jake Burger hit his 20th and 21st homeruns. Luis Robert Jr. not only came back from the calf tightness that held him out of the All-Star game but LRJ also had a solid weekend at the plate. The Sox started the weekend eight games back in the division and they finished the weekend eight games back. Is it just too little and too late for the 2023 White Sox?
