Hey Sox fans! Happy New Year and Welcome back to Good Guys Talk Back. We've got some skin in the game after taking advantage of +3500 odds for our White Sox to win the division in 2024. Sox add some catching depth by bringing in Martin Maldonado. Hopefully his defense returns to accustomed levels and his offense defies all odds. Sox also added some pitching since the last time we talked. Reliever Tim Hill has been added to the bullpen and starter Chris Flexen has been brought into the rotation conversation. These are one year, low risk stop gap moves but do these decisions take advantage of a weak division?
